My Gastro. japonicas has 17 new roots and 2 spikes started.

I have a new leaf and a new spike to report on mine This'll be the third time it's flowered for me so feeling quite pleased with it

Funny! I only noticed a spike on mine this pm...which I had up to now thought was a root.
I took a pic.
What stage are your spikes at? pics would be really cool!

I really need to replace mine, it was victim to my neglect in the fall when I was going through an extremely rough time. A shame because it was doing quite nicely too.

Not noticed spikes yet this year, but roots are showing active tips all over the mount, and a new leaf is growing

Thanks Nenella, I am pretty sure the baby is starting a spike along with mom. Anyway they don't look like roots, another couple of days and I'll know for sure
