Hi everyone my flowers are finally open  I've got 6 this time, so 2 down from the first flowering, but they're still lovely. Unfortunately, you can't quite see where the previous flowers came from, but, as I said in an earlier post, for some reason, these ones are coming from 2 leafs joints below  |

Thanks everyone Dave, I'm not sure how long it took to go from spike to bloom, but it wasn't that long, maybe 6weeks or so. Certainly no more than 2-3weeks to go from little distinct buds to open flowers Perhaphs one thing to metion is that I haven't been fertilising so much the last couple of months (been a bit slack from overwork to tell the truth!) and so I've been using straight rain water. Nice to see that it hasn't had a bad impact! |

Congrats Jenny!
I really love these plants. My project plant is also nearly in full bloom. One spike fully opened the other has 3 buds still to open.
