Well I dont know how, but mine has survived the Hotlanta heat without any noticeable problems. It's oldest leaf is starting to yellow, but whether that is the environment of just normal, I dont know. Mine gets only early-just before afternoon direct light, and that's it. It's done great!

Mine is outside in 100f temps and is fine thus far, but I water it one to two times per day as it's mounted.

Bob, could you post pictures of yours? I'd like to see what you are talking about for a comparison photo against other people's. I'm just really curious what your is doing and looks like at the moment.
