Mine is very slow but I finally see the spikes spreading out the buds.

The third spike is still pretty small so it may blast or bloom much later.

I keep telling it to hurry up.

I've been watching my Gastro. closely since I got it and what I thought was a new root growing seems to be a spike. While watching it grow 2 other roots have started and grew longer faster. Their seems to be a second nubbin emerging as well. It lives above my unfinished lilly pond with about 60% shade and appears to be happy.

LOL... I'm going to have to try that. I've seen many threaten their plants with the dunk or die method and it seems to be working! LOL...

I think I am going to find my little "Gassy" a new mount. It is growing roots like crazy and I just do not like the plain old slab of wood it is on. I have been watching the woods looking for a good piece and will post pics when I find one. Still waiting for a spike, but getting a new leaf and LOTS of roots.

Well, I'm still waiting on the blooms, so I thought I would update everyone. I'm still waiting for them to open, but they slowly (very slowly) grow larger every day.
Here are my 6 soon to be blooms...

WOW, I just noticed little baby buds on mine but nothing like yours! Guess I'm going to have quite the wait here based on others comments.

Yeah, they do take their sweet time. I first called it a potential spike on 5/27, buds could first be counted around 7/1, and have elongated about 1/4 to 3/8" since then... And still waiting... They are coming, just very slowly.
