Hi all! I've been watching everyones progress, but not posting much, life has been busy with trying to get my garden in outside, and other play/distractions! However, I did finally upload some photo updates!
I grow mine indoors, this was a plant I got from Oak Hills and it's been doing really well!
Here is from when I first got it:
Then here was a photo from May 11th, my Gastrochilus japonicus looked like this:
here she is last night:
and a close up:
I am watering every other day by dunking in a bucket. I really like this little plant!! Tap water with a weak fertilizer.

Agreed, I'm impressed. I'm beginning to think both of my spikes have stalled, as little has changed since my last report. Maybe they'll be encouraged by my water boarding for their next watering

My tap ph is close to 9 and a TDS ranges from 450-670! This why anyone who like to grow a good garden has to filter there water.
Mine still kicking!!!! My spike only has two buds tho. I think this plant need about 10 deg colder then the adverage temp here to do we'll.
