WOW! Already 5 pages! when I logged off yesterday there was nothing!
Thank you very much Rosie & Camille for you hard work in getting this project on the road!
So, It looks like I will have to get myself a second Gastrochilus japonicus! I really don't mind as I certainly do not regret having 2 haraellas they're both spiking their first spikes for this year and so is Gastro & I have the space in my bottles..
Well I haven't looked whom I'm buying what from... I'll start looking into it when I get back on sunday.

Ya, I was thinking of everyone. I emailed him to let him know it was probably going to be the project plant and to see if he had others so that some of you could buy from him. Unfortunately he only had the one.

Hey thanks!! I would have gone crazy trying to find a vendor that sells both!! I tried 4 lastnight and none of them had both. I will try with Gastrochilus somai and see what I find. If they wouldn't tamper with the names we wouldn't have this problem!!

Keithrs. That's interesting, do you know the reasons for the change in classification?

I hate to be the party pooper because I love shermantp and have ordered from him before, but that does not look like japonicus.

Please follow this link and compare. His looks like flabelliformis. japonicus has a spotted lip.
