Right now I've got mine mounted (came that way) with sphag and hanging in my southern kitchen window. Once the temperatures level out a bit I will be taking it outside for a while. However, since we get upwards of 100F here, I don't know that I'll keep it outside the whole time yet.

BTW, the humidity that I mentioned is only what it gets in it's natural environment. Many people grow orchids in less than optimal conditions with great success.

Well, if we are posting our growing conditions, then here goes. I am growing mine indoors. Haven't decided whether to take it outside yet as we are still having really weird weather. I give it a soak every morning and heavy mist a couple times a day. I have a fan going 24/7 and T5 grow lights on for about 13 hours a day. I recently opened the windows in that room so it is getting some fresh air. My shelves are set up in front of a west facing window so it gets some direct light in late afternoon. So far so good.

I've got mine with my paphs at the moment which are indoors in a south facing room. However, they are on the eatern side of the room so there's bright light but no direct sunlight due to the angle of the house. I can't give any temps, but even though the room warms up during the day, living by the sea means that when I open the windows there's good air movement with on-shore breezes. I've been misting two or three times a day and so far so good (though, I'll probably move it with the paphs to their summer spot in case it gets too hot)

(just remember that mine's in a pot not, mounted like most everyone else!)

Growing Conditions.....

Potted or Mounted- Mounted on cedar with spag.

Location- Outside with occasional inside in the winter

Temp.- 45-100+, Mostly 60-85 summer 50-70 winter

Light- Light shadowing, Gets sun rays throw tree (will post FC when meter comes)

Water- 3X per week, daily misting(up to 6X)

Humidity- 0%-80%, More misting on less humid days

Fertilizer- 20-10-20 urea free at 1/8 Tbs per gal. every watering Plus KLN and pro tek and weak dose of physan 20 every other week.

FYI.... I going to add a wetting agent soon with every watering. Probably will be adjusting my fertilizer when my bluelab EC and ph meter shows up. Also I will probably move it into a orchidarium with in a year or so.

Mine is Mounted.
All temps are under 85, and when it's forecast to go over that, they get moved indoor to a similar lighting situation for the day, then back out at night.
I dunk them daily right now, as that seems to be when the mount/sphag all are dry, and they get a heavy misting 1 or twice a day.
Atlanta humidity keeps at about 50+%
Right now, every other watering or so they get a 1/10 or so of MSU fertilizer, and weekly a low dose of KLN.
They get early morning to late morning sun, getting covered around 11:00 or so, and then all indirect light from there on.

i thought someone said they looked on bakers and found that the temps shouldnt go above 85F. if thtats true than i can have mine outside. but it has high humidity outside, so im thinking that it will be able to cope with higher temps than it likes if it has nice high humidity

mine should be here today

That is what bakers said, with humidity around 90%. They also said it could possibly adapt to about an 8f differential. Again, the bakers only record the information as available for where they occur in nature. Many of us grow these orchids in less than optimum conditions with varied levels of success being dependent upon our own care and environment factors. Try it out, it might work, bit humidity tends to push the "feels like" temperature higher than it actually is.

Well we'll see about the temps. We are already hitting 90 here in Memphis with humidity in the 70% range.

I have mine in the shade house with daily dunking and misting. I will have to post more later as I haven't really set up the shade house for summer yet. We just removed the visqueen last weekend because the temps had been dropping for 1 day, then increasing way up. I think we are securely in summer temp wise now.

Forgot to add that mine is mounted and that instead of plain water, I use worm tea with fertilizer added once a week weak.
