*sneaks in when no one's looking for a quick thread hi-jack* If anyone else has got an Angraecum Didieri as a TC, here's a new thread I've started in hopes we can start a support group:
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...tml#post401402
And, if anyone here already has one, please help out with some culture advice if you can

My three new best friends!
Gastrochilus japonicus (of course)
I think my plant is smaller than what other people are reporting. This one is only about 5 inches across from leaf-tip to leaf-tip. But I'm still really happy with it.
My other two best friends that came along for the ride are:
Angraecum didieri (how could I resist?)
Angraecum distichum (because it's so weird looking)

Well Thanks to Jenny for starting the thread, and I hope to be seeing the other angraecum people there as well.
I just noticed a small growth on my Gastro after all the hubub about spikes this morning. I'll post pics in a sec, but looks a little like a root... Grr

Mine came today!!!!! It looked a bit sad but I think it was just dry. It is about 5 1/2 inches across and has a cut back spike. It has been on this mount for a while as the roots have attached themselves. I will post pics later.

Well I have my Gastro but it is not the same as everyone's. The leaf structure is much different. My leaf are thin and wavy. I'm going to order the japonicus. I also ordered the Bulbo. I'm really lovin the Bulbo.

What do you all think, it's really small right now, and you can barely see it. Should I keep my hopes up?
