wow! thats a big sedirea! i just remembered that when i was buying mine, they had ( the same size at the time) other sedireas that they said would stay small, and mine would get big. i had no idea that big! especially flowering so small. cant wait. the smell of the flowers that arent even fully opened is amazing!

camille- glad you can participate!

Hi all! Yesterday was my fantastic mail day! Got all my planties! Love! Here is my Gastrochilus japonicus, it's sure cute! it's on a 7" slab and the span from longest leaf-tips is 9". It was dry, as were the other plants in my order, but they all plumped up with some soaking. They are so shiny and happy!

and here are my other traveling companion planties:

Better than Christmas I tell you. Sorry the images are so big, I couldn't figure out how to make them smaller, and the board is being really wonky!

I finally ordered mine today.

TC's coming along for the ride:
sedirea japonica
phal bellina
phal stuartiana

Never grown any mounted so will have to see how it goes.

Also my first time participating in a project.

Mark

I love your plants, and your TCs! All look healthy!! Your Sedirea japonica is bigger than mine (more leaves!) Nice going! and that Haraella retrocalla is the cutest thing I've ever seen!!!

Thanks for posting the pics!

it's being very wonky. just remember to compose your post, then copy and save it in a text file, in case it won't load, then you can just copy and paste it in when it is working. that's what I had to do.

Looks like most of us are getting the sedirea japonica as well. Mine is getting no TCs, but I intend a trip to our local greenhouse for a belated birthday present.
