Gee, that was hard!! Of them, I feel most comfortable with the Doritis (as it seems to be the only one not mounted in the Euro vendors). However, it looks like one of the mounts is going to win, so I went for the Aerangis as it's the closest to my original favourite, the Angreacum, and should be nice and fragrant

You can grow it any way you like. Part of the fun is comparing when various people grow them different ways.

Don't be too frightened of mounts. My first mount was my first OB project plant and I was nervous of caring for it... but it turns out to be one of the easiest to care for. I now have 7 mounted orchids and love them.

So how many people total do we have participating?
I have to say I was REALLY hoping to have an excuse to get Doritis, but that doesn't seem like the likely winner. I am already one orchid over my 'limit' thanks to the orchid show in Phoenix last weekend, so my hubby says I am only allowed to buy the winner, and no traveling companions.

I have 43 on the list. Assuming everyone who has voted is meant to have done (I've not checked through yet) then there are 13 more people due to vote (including me).

Thanks Rosie, I am quite nervous about a mount but I guess that's what 'a group project' is all about - y'all can hold my hand and help me out!!

Not much to pick from this time! I voted for the Doritis, but only because I don't like the bulbo and I already have the other 2. If the Gastrochilus or Aerangis wins, I'll sit out on this project, I got my gastrochilus as a TC for the last project. Mine's doing great mounted and is so happy in my care that right now it has 2 beautiful spikes full of blooms!
The aerangis is a very nice one (got one about 5-6 weeks ago), the fragrance is absolutely amazing. Smells like asian lilies.
