I feel your pain help/ Bob! I don't have a 'Euro' symbol on my keyboard either and, since I'm firmly rooted in £ sterling, I think the whole thing is barmy anyway! But I have learnt something from here, re: using a period/ full stop instead of a space or comma as a thousand marker, very strange!
