Well, I read that as being 12.50 Euros, so yes, it's under 20 euros (even with the tax added)

Italy in is the Eurozone, so the price is in euros. This is actually one of the cheapest european growers, most of their plants are 12.50€ (plus tax)

LOL. When I moved to France from the US I was constantly scolded at school (especially in math class) for using (.) instead of (,). In france the (.) is used as the thousands separator. Americans write $1000, but French write $1.000 (not $1! ) Then it depends on the country. I got used to doing it the other way, but then I moved to the Netherlands and they do things the American way.

I'm confused... isn't that price in euros anyway.

Sorry, just realised... Europeans use comma (,) as a decimal seperator rather than period (.)

Here in the UK we use period, but I'm used to working with Europeans so have got used to not even noticing the comma.

Ah, looks like you beat me to it, I had an old copy of this thead open when I replied so missed this.

It's confused me in the past because we work the american way. I first came across it when I had to get the software I write working with them the other way arround for European customers.

I hadn't realised they also used the period for the thousand seperator, we don't have that in our software (although our UK and USA customers have the thousand seperator the European ones don't).

it makes it harder for me to communicate my problem to you, because 1) i dont have the fancy euro-keyboard 2) i dont know what the euro symbols mean!
