Mine is really unhappy right now. It dropped most of it's leaves but then started growing a couple of small ones. I think I'm going to switch it to a net pot with straight sphag and see if it likes that better. Where there's life there's hope!
Jim yours is amazing! It always has been. Great growing! Care to share how you're growing it?
Thanks for all the nice complements, it a great little plant. Terri I grow it under fluoresents with my Paphs & Phals but water it alot more soak it once a week and mist it every other day, hope this helps.... Jim.
I think mine is making a comeback. I've been watering and fertilizing it lots more than I did last year and it's growing new leaves and new roots. I guess I'm the cautionary tale that these do not do well under benign neglect!
Well, I'm very sorry to say my plant has died. It caught the systemic fungus that flew through the phals this summer. I'm not giving up though...I plan to buy another one.
my absolute favorite in the aerangis group..... (finding these little beauts where I am is like looking for a needle in a haystack ) But the search continues either way..
