Woo Hoo! Mine put out a basal keiki before it ever blossomed. I'll bet yours will come around just fine.

Mine went like gangbusters for a year or so. Now it's on the decline, and I'm not sure why. :( I'm going to try mounting it, or maybe just do a repot. It's dropped several leaves and the new ones are stunted and not looking great either. That may be a project for this weekend.

I had a hard time with it when it first came. Lost all its leaves, thought it was a gonna for sure.
But now, two leaves at the same time...........

It's been a while since I've posted anything on this project plant. It's still alive, but it could be doing better. The leaves were all growing pretty short and light in color so I lowered it to a different area in the orchidarium, it seems to have helped. I haven't seen any new roots for a while now and I took it' pad of moss out from under the roots, the moss was pretty narly looking, thought maybe the moss was the issue of the roots not looking so healthy, but they still look that way. Also any bloom spikes have beem small with a very low flower count. Is there something I should be doing differently?

Here's a update on my Proj.#4 plant, it's doing real good more blooms then last year, I find it easy to grow, but hard to photograph, the spures are on the underside of the bloom hard to see. ENJOY.... Jim.

This plant definitely reminds me of spring in December. Very glad you posted these photos.

Great growing!! Obviously a happy and healthy plant for it to bloom that spectacularily. :bowing I got one early last year, but there's no sign of a spike on it so far this winter. :( Last year it was blooming by xmas.
