My guardian angel has come through and my plants arrived in the mail today. They were in very good condition but, not on mounts. Oh well, I quickly mounted the project plant and all is well. They are getting aquainted with all the other plants outside. Here is a picture of my project plant and the TC Angraecum scottianum which I will mount later when I get a mount for it. There is NO spike on mine so, I'm in the spikeless catagory. Oh and I will post this picture in the gallery too.

Julie, I've been wondering about you and your plants all day! Happy they've arrived and are doing well.
You're with me...on the long list of "no-spikers"

Hey Julie, if you hide a couple of half-sunk screws under the moss, it will give you something to wire to that is more easily concealed.

Julie, Julie! I am SO happy yours arrived. You sounded so in the dumps and I hate to see folks like that! Now all is well - right Plants look really nice. I suspect the only "spikers" are mounted plants. Now don't quote me on this, but might this be a premonition? Your mount looks well-done. This little puppy should grow to cover all the signs of mounting quickly. Let us know how it progresses.

Woohoo
I finally ordered my Aerangis and of course, a travel companion - Eurychone rothschildiana
IOSPE PHOTOS
http://www.orchidspecies.com/orphotd...hchildiana.jpg
It has the leaves similar in shape to a phalaenopsis and the flower form similar to a cochleanthes. And fragrant! BONUS
I would have purchased a cochleanthes Amazing as it is one of Tom's specials but I already bought one with double blooms. I will post photos in another thread.
