I ordered mine today from J & L along with a stinky TC-Bulbophyllum echinolabium. I don't believe I'll be keeping them in the same room

The poor Maxillaria is going to be a bit 'green' once you take it out of the box it had to travel in with such a stinky companion!

Hey Everyone, I'm fairly new to the board and was wondering how one of these projects works? Does everyone just buy Maxillaria Tenuifolias for this specific project and post pictures and update on how the plant has matured. It couldn't be related to the blooms right? These are supposed to be done blooming.
Thank for any help,
Tommy

Hi Tommy, You have it right! I never noticed when these bloom but It's better if they don't bloom for awhile and allow the plant to adapt to the new growers conditions. That way they can take more credit for it flowering.

That's an idea: bloom or stay in the box with your TC

I ordered mine yesterday from an e-bay vendor I have purchased from before.
The price was right and they have more if you are interested.
No TC's as I have 3 other plants arriving this week! I'm so sick................................LOL
