I hope so much for you that it's a spike!! You'll have to take pics as it grows, so that we have an idea of what a spike looks (or doesn't look) like.

I'm going to be moving my plant to my office since it will get full sun a large part of the day. At home it's only getting early morning sun.

yep. i think its the extra light and the sudden extra water. all my plants are doing well.

i will get pics once it stops raining. its raining so hard! haha

i have lots of activity here.

i have 5 phals in spike. one of which is p. i-hsin sunflower. and i have one phal that has what i think is a basal keiki.

i have a bc kosh wallis with at least 4 sheaths. 2 of them definitely showing buds through.

i have a blc terri henderson 'paul' that has a huge fat sheath. i can see and feel buds inside. and they are getting bigger and bigger

last on i have is an lc angel heart 'hihimanu' am/aos that has buds. but NO SHEATHS! it has 2 pbulbs with bud/s. this one if odd actually, the newest growth was mutant, and ended up being two growths. so its like siamese twins. both sides are the ones with buds, both have no sheaths

Great news, hope it's a spike for you

Mine is still growing, I noticed a new growth a few days ago. No spikes, but it's a plant I enjoy even if it's not flowering

false alarm :'( it was just a lead that broke, and the lowest sheath ( still green) was there. :'( i wanted it to be a spike soo bad!

but the buds on the lc angel hear are growin. and i found more. there are 2 buds on one pbulb, and 1/each for 2 other pbulbs.

and the blc terri henderson has 2 buds that are clearly distinct when held up to the sun!

any updates guys & girls? My news is:
Mine's just putting out 5 new p/bulbs/growths. I had sort of forgotten to water it frequently more than a couple weeks ago; I noticed the bulbs were looking shrivelled.. gave it a couple long soaks, which 'puffed 'the p/bulbs out again and back to making sure I water twice a week...

No updates from me because not much is going on, other than a bunch of new growths slowly maturing. I did move it over to the office so it can enjoy the nice south window there. I don't think my grow lights were enough for it.
