YAY!! Hope it is. Any pic of it? The nubbins on mine now definitely look like growths, something which wasn't obvious to me when i first saw them. The sheaths on mine are still very green, so I think I have a while to wait for spikes.

By the way, i have been thinking lately, there is some really nice clones of the red variety also.
It would be intresting to see what my yellow clone crossed with one of the red clones would look like.
I am pretty sure the outcome could be really stunning.
Imagine a bicolor tenuifolia with yellow/red

Hi everybody, I would LOVE to see pics of everyone's growths, nubbins, spikes etc in detail ... so, if you have pics please do post them. Pics talk more than words!

I'll try to remember to take a picture or two this weekend, I don't think there is much going on yet though.

Well I finally have signs of brand new growth on mine. I know it's growth not spikes because they are imediately against the previous p-bulbs. While I would love spikes, anything new is good with me
Previously the three lead growths it arrived with had been fattening into p-bulbs. Now really low down, still almost hidden by the sheath, each of those three new p-bulbs has a tiny tiny point growing up beside it.
It's so great to see this sign of new growth

That's great! Nice that it's doing something. Over the winter I really thought that mine was doing nothing at all since the bulbs grew so slowly. The new growths on mine are growing nicely, they're too the point of peeking out from between the leaf and bulb. I think it's enjoying spring.
