I saw a few nice large Maxillaria tenuifolia at Lowes in a bag. 13 $... looked nice. a few weeks ago. Brooklyn NY.

really!! cool! i saw some nice looking brassovola nodosa an little stars that looked great, one had either a sheath or a new leaf. but all the catts were really dehydrated

I may not be part of the project. But I actually own a Max tenuifolia.
As long as you guys know that even though the Max tenuifolia is a fast growing species, that tiny division ain't gonna be blooming for you any time soon, and you're fine with that - then by all means go ahead with the ones from Ian's Orchids.
Just sayin' y'all.

Would you share, please, how do you grow it? As for size, i am sure it will grow. (Unless it doesnt grow and die ) Where is the challenge in getting blooming or close to blooming plant?
