Well mine is fattening it's three growths from last year. They are not as fat as the old ones yet but definately getting fatter all the time.

No root growth just yet on mine (the Gastrochilus I bought at the same time has masses of root growth though).

Same, the 8 new bulbs on mine are getting fatter and fatter, one is already larger than the old ones. No new roots that I can see, but don't know what's going on down in the pot.

Jeff, I'm really curious to know if yours are buds, I thought that they bloomed in late spring.

I guess I'll be pouncing on my plant when I get home to see if there's anything new growing! I doubt it, but I can't help being curious!

I think someone had told me that they last about 4-6 weeks. To be confirmed though.

Hi Ramon,

You got the same yellow one as i do, my buds are just starting to peek out from under the brown sheath.
Perhaps yours might start soon.

About 4/5 days ago i did increase my light by putting the plant closer to the lights, maybe that sparked it to bud. But that seems rather fast.

Did you get any of my messages/emails?

Jeff
