Usually the older pseudobulbs will last for years and will not wrinkle much at all.

The roots are not quite all that touchy either.

It's just a matter of having the new roots grow into the medium and having the plant establish itself before you really see a nice plant.

It won't take very long. Just wait.

We are waiting! I watched mine yesterday for 4 straight hours and it didn't grow a bit!

Maybe they're running quite a bit late, might have to see if they'll come to in about 3 months or so.

My new strategy is less care. Seems to be working, as my Den. Aggregatum also recent started putting out new roots, and I've got a couple buds starting up, including one on a vanda I picked up in Hawaii and had assumed would never re-bloom in my climate.

To keep things relevant, it does seem as though my older bulbs on the tenuifolia will stay wrinkled, while the younger ones have plumped out.

Love them by listening to them.

When they say "Dude, chill out, I'm doing my thang", let them.

I have two Max. tens. I left one outside (under 75% shade cloth) and brought one in about 2 weeks ago, when lows were in the mid 50s. I've had one night down to 42 degrees, so I guess I am doing a little trial to see if a little more light is better or warmer temps. What think ye?
