Today is sunny so I just took some pics.
I got these on Wednesday and I gave the max a quick watering and just did it again now before taking the photos. Do you think I need to water more often? as I noticed have little creases on p/bulbs.

i dont know how you could make a orchid bonsai. i dont know of any orchids that will take on that shape or have a woody stem. but, orchids are a good candidate for kusamono. like a mini phal or other minis or a neo. falcata.

i would just like to state, that i know my hibiscus isnt that great, but its a work in progress

i have lava rock from the garden center, its a good size, and i like it. but i think the ones you can get at lowes are too big. i was looking at them the other day. plus, is it treated so it catches on fire easier?

they look good!! i soaked my max for about an hour the first day, and then the next day i soaked it again for an hour the next day. i still want you E. tampensis, you have to let us know how that one does!

on a side note-how do you multi quote? haha

They look great nenella! Just me, but I would hold off on more water to see how the p bulbs are doing in a day or so. JMHO

The p-bulbs on mine were far more wrinkled and they've fattened up well with good watering. Mine is mounted so I can water it quite a lot without worrying not sure when it's potted.

Your Gastrochillus looks similar size to mine. Mine has a new spike but I'm not sure if it's growing as I've seen no sign since I got it a couple of weeks back. I've been told they grow slowly though so maybe it's fine.
