I don't think they need to pout at all necessarily. If the humidity around them is decent and they started out with live roots, they should just keep growing!
One thing with repotting - one reason that so many orchids sulk after being transplanted is that they aren't anchored to the medium. A trick to get around this is to put a stake or two into the pot and tie the plant to it. This acts as a "splint" to prevent any movement of the plant relative to the medium and really facilitates fast recovery from transplanting. It's a good general rule of thumb that you want complete immobility of the plant when you are potting.
Those who are committed to spending money often swear by spraying newly transplanted orchids with SuperThrive once or twice a week for a few months. It can't hurt!

Arrived!
Root system. It's actually three plants, two cuttings with one bulb each, and one larger plant. All look healthy.
And the buddy which kept it company during shipping..

i just supplement my water with superthrive, when i have newly potted plants.
i have also started [for very unruly plants] to use bonsai wire to wire them gently to the pot, so they cant come out. but normally, for my phals i dont need to do anything, they stay in anyways.

they have to ask for it, because you have to pay for it somehow. unless you were planning on ordering online

But why would they want my credit card information? They need to provide me with THEIR payment information so i can send them the money either by bank transfer, paypal or their website.
I thought it was odd and suspicious

Well i don't know exactly how that works, i barely use my credit card i only use it to pay things with paypal.
But maybe what you say is true.
I wonder if the yellow tenuifolia occurs naturally, it's probably crossed this way or something.

the plant was shipped today, so it should arrive within the next days... as for the credit card.. well... it normally work like that when your order online sometimes you also have the option paying via Paypal, and also the option to make a money transfer in advance, and they ship the plants after they receive the money...
Credit Card option is normally faster, but if you have concerns, you can transfer the money... you receive that option from them too... I had it! and I decided for the CC option, as I am used to do it that way...
