It still has a few old blossoms on it, which in their ending stage I will be honest, smell like coconut they DO NOT. My only hope is that at the next blooming, they will live up to their name of 'coconut orchid'

Anyway, I'm not exactly sure what to do with it, and I haven't had time to check out the roots yet. I will likely try to re-pot this weekend in bark.

Not sure if I'm excited by this project plant or intimidated by the mass of pseudo bulbs, ahaha!

Wow! They certainly sent you one of the A+ plants!
What are you going to do with all those p-bulbs?
You must have at at least 10 plants there.

It'll be just my luck if they try and delivery it tommorow as it's coming to the office and I'm not here tommorow. Anyway, it's got to come from Germany and according to the tracking number it may still be at that end. I'm actually hoping the don't try to deliver until Monday.

Anyway mine is meant to be mounted, although I've previously had one from this grower that said that then turned out to be potted... so we shall see... I'm so excited
Hoping for a safe arrival for you!
It would be nice to grow these mounted, would certainly save me some room. I would definitely not be able to keep them moist/humid enough though.

My mom surprised me by paying for a division from Ian as a reward for some hard work lately. It should be here today!
Ian grows his very wet, in sphag. His divisions were potted up four months ago, and he advised against repotting...but I don't trust myself to not overwater even if these guys do like all that moisture. So I think I will just repot into some sphag with lava rock or hydroton as gently as possible. Maybe just add some to what's already there.

Is it karma that half the orchids I've received lately resent repotting...?

I'm late to the party (in terms of ordering), but I'm getting there!

I had a computer meltdown. My high end suped-up (but 3 years old) computer had a GPU meltdown. The whole computer it just fine, but without the GPU, nothing can work, and it can't be replaced! So, my only choice was to remove the hard drive and turn it into an external hard drive and buy a new computer. Ouch! X a whole lot more!!!

But alas, I am back up and running! And shall be ordering from Oak Hill within the next couple of days... sadly little Maxine (the tenacious tenuifolia) will have to do without as many TC's as were planned.
