LOL. I know that you really liked this one so it's too bad that it has not a chance. But you can always get it as a TC if the project plant is at Hausermann's or you're willing to pay $24 for it at Andy's. I know that I'll try to get it if it's a a vendor who has the future project plant.
A collegue here has about a dozen E.tampensis and he offered me one, but I'm too afraid to try to smuggle it to europe. There's a hefty fine (and jail I believe) if I get caught...

No reason we can't add it to the final poll. It was my mistake and I have that power.

I was looking up pics of each plant in the poll on orchidwiz, so that I could pick my 10 top choices and I found another one which may be a problem.
Rhynchostylis gigantea needs about 90F(day) and 75(night) in the summer, spring days of 95F and in the winter it takes about 90(day) and 70(night). I think this would largely classify it as a hot grower.

ok, looking at temp ranges in IOSPE:
Dendrobium oligophyllum - Hot Grower (I grow it intermediate and it does well!)
Mediocalcar decoratum - COLD Grower (I tried intermediate, and did not work!)
Tolumnia variegata - Hot Grower (don't know the species, but the hybrids do well for me in intermediate!)
Rhynchostylis gigantea - Hot Grower (A friend of mine grows it intermediate and it does well!)
Encyclia cordigera - Hot Grower (I grow it intermediate and it does well!)

Most of the vendors say they are I-W and we have had conflicting info between Orchidwiz and IOSPE. So I was going with the vendors information.

Dave, that's exactly my point in the past it was paid too much attention to the info in IOSPE, even though many of us knew the info is not always accurate... for me, it is the experience (either of the vendors or of any of us) which really matter...

Forget that I brought it up then, I was just trying to be helpful. No hard feelings.

I would appreciate that. But it's up to you. I you think it's to complecated because some people have already voted. Than that's fine.
Again, sorry for pestering you about it. And I am very sorry!
