Please continue to suggest plants if you like, any type is best as long as it meets the criteria. The Project is only 5 days old and we need to give it awhile to give others a chance to join and suggest plants to participate in general. We already (in 5 days) have 17 people in this project. I think we should evaluate whether or not to start the voting poll in a week or so from now. This is something we shouldn't rush through.
P.S. researching plants to suggest is not as easy as you thought, now is it.http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_5.gif But it's a great way to learn. |

My husband and I leave for vacation tonight for a week so once we get back, I'll be into giving suggestions! Happy searching :)

Like Ramon suggests, mainland europe members can help out. I would gladly buy the plant for you and get paid back via paypal. To save on shipping the plant could be sent directly to you by doing the order in your name. Same works the other way around if the plant is only in the UK and there's transactions fees for € to £. |
schwerter has the encyclia.

I forgot to mention that I've made some more suggestions of previous pages... one of them is a cold to cool growing orchid, but I guess I missed that... I was too captivated by its beauty.

I've been happily looking up plants and further enlarging my wishlist on Orchidwiz
Per the list of plants in the first post that meet criteria, I wouldn't classify Den kingianum as an intermediate grower seeing that it needs a quite cool winter to bloom. Some suggestions: *Den tetragonum (might be too big, there's lots of size variation in this species, 2 to 20in!) SBOE $25, Paramount $25-28, Nardotto e Capello (12,5€) Pleurothallis restrepioides Up to 9in Andy's ($18), Cloud's ($20), Burnham (£8) Bulbophyllum ambrosia 5in Andy's ($28 - will try to find it elsewhere cheaper), Cloud's ($25), Grobraschner (15€) Sarcochilus hartmannii 20in in habitat, but cultivated plants about 6in SBOE ($25), Paramount ($25-28), La Cour des Orchidées (15€) Dave, if you would like me to check some things on Orchidwiz like I did in a past project, just sent me a PM with what info is needed! |
