Dave or others have said, if we cannot find it in Canada, and someone from Canada signs up, it will be removed. Same goes for other countries.

Btw- thanks Rosie, for looking out for us! I hope you're able to participate- that is gracious of you to offer to bow out. Perhaps we could find a similar species that you can acquire otherwise- like was done with the Rhyn. coelestis.

Goes to show- even if we don't choose a plant, we still discover all sorts of great plants that are easy to grow!
Help- if we did a plant, I bet we would not all do a certain variety (alba), but rather what we preferred or could obtain. The important part is staying within the size, price, availability, and species parameters.
Dave- Oak Hill and other growers are bringing orchids (some that I've already pre-ordered) to Denver's show in October. If they have the plant that we choose, would it be rude for me to participate even though I will not receive the plant until then?
Perhaps member Pilot and ChasWG would participate then as well, as they might be attending.

Dave, hope you don't mind but I'm going to update your first post with the UK availability. That way it will be easier to keep track of which I've checked as you add more.
[Edit] I've also tried help by compiling the info that's been listed in this thread about USA availability in to the first thread.

Hi Help,
The European links above are fine for mainland Europe but not for the UK. (€15-€19 fee for non-Euro transactions).
I'm just looking to see if I can find it elsewhere.

Chances are part of the project. You will be surprised what you can grow. Most culture sheets are guidelines not cut in stone. Orchids are very adaptable.

I agree, I've tried things I wouldn't have dared try other wise and in both of the projects I've done it's been really great fun trying something different.
