I will try to keep an open mind . I would also like to put in a request for Dend. unicum to be considered. It can grow intermediate to warm (is tolerant), it's a miniature, it's fragrant, it can be found around the $20 range at Andy's and J & L (and probably other places), and what's not to love .

Please make a list of plant suggestions and give them to me when we get to that stage of the project. Here is a European search engine and a couple Canadian vendors so you will know if they are available to everyone.

May I suggest some things? I know it's chaotic here right now, but anyways... I think someone should tell everyone to make their own list of orchids they would like to grow, tell everyone that each orchid has to fit certain criteria, and later on when the details are sorted out, we can share, see who wants to do what, and doesn't want to do what. ( ), check to see if the orchids are available to everyone (get everyone to post where they are)... Maybe have each person check availability for their own lists, etc. Just my

that is basically what step two is. except, some people are jumping the gun though. i think this thread is for discussing having the project and joining the project. plants should wait. people should go ahead and make their own lists, like you said, but share them when the time is appropriate.

I think a project where everyone has the same plant is what the projects are all about. like dave said, everyone getting what they want, is what we do here anyways

just my two cents
