(even if the intermediate project is not chosen, as I said, people seem to be making suggestions anyways.)
Well, that is exactly what I said in another posts (more like a couple posts) but yeah, it's a good idea! That way we can converse and see what's available to who. See what others want to do and what not. lol!

Hi Mary, Go ahead and start making a list of plants to suggest. When you find a orchid you would like, use the search engine and Canadian vendor site's I provided on the first post and see if it can be found. If you located it in both place's it is a keeper to be suggested. Take note's on where you found it and how much it cost. It takes time to do all this and by the time you have a few plants to suggest the thread will be up and the games can begin.

It's a testament to how much everyone loves orchids, that people are jumping the gun to make suggestions!

I'm such a beginner, I'm pretty happy to sit back and watch the dust settle and then go with whatever plant is chosen. Looking forward to participating, thank you to the organizers and to everyone who is putting time and energy into managing this conversation.

Thanks Dave, much appreciated. I was planning to do some looking around and see what I'm interested in that fits the parameters.

I'm quite happy to check the sites I know. There may be others though that I've not found yet.

So if someone finds a plant in Europe that I can't find, if they say where they have found it I will be able to check whether it's going to be too expensive for UK folks.
