Checked this morning, and my Rhyn is in full bloom. Not a huge spike but very pretty. Unfortunately, while I was looking forward to having the blue variety (what I ordered), It turns out I've got the white one... oh well... still lovely. I'll post pics tonight or tomorrow.

Wow, great job... makes me really wish I had managed to find one of these. I'm going to keep it on my wish list though!

Still no sign of spikes, but leaf growth continues. Congrats on your flowers, Susie and Erin

Ok, my plant is in full bloom. I am so happy with this beautiful display! However since I have not owned this plant a year, I cannot take any credit for it's beautiful blooms. Martin Motes gets credit for it's care for the past few (quite a few) years. Hopefully, I can help it do this again next time.

That's lovely - I hope mine spikes soon - the weather has just broken after weeks of no rain, and I'm hoping it doesn't cool down too much.

Susan
It's so beautiful. What is your Rhyn planted in? It looks so healthy.

Thanks, Marilyn! It is just bare root in the basket with no media. That is the best way to grow vandas down here.
