Congratulations, Dave! Mine isn't doing anything. I just moved it into the house because I was afraid it was too hot in the orchid house. I changed the moss in it about 4 months ago and fertilized it. It is alive but has not changed in the 2 years that I have had it!

Super - thanks for taking the time to post another pic. Question so does one get one flower of that spike or several?

My Miltonia is puttinh out new growths and spikes. So far I've noticed 4 new spikes that are starting to grow. Can't wait to see them blooming. This is the second year that they bloom for me.

Rosie mine gets full sun exposure to the point that the pseudobulbs turn yellow when the tree looses it's leaves, then when it gets shaded again the growths explodes and so do the bloom spikes start to emerge.

Mines goes yellow in the sun too. It's currently in the brightest window in the house (and has been all winter) it will soon go outside in quite bright sun (I'm thinking about now there is little chance of frost).

Last summer it went very yellow all summer in the sun, then went green again over the winter, but I've noticed it's already turning yellow and I've not put it out yet.
