I will most definitely post pics Friday evening after I get home from work and unpack them!!! I am SOO excited!! My TC will be the haraella. I had been following the last project and saw how much everyone loved theirs so I decided that I too must have one :)

Harry is a really nice guy. He has been a HUGE help throughout the history of our OB Projects, when we've ordered from Andy's.

Once I get my plants on Friday, where do you want me to post? Are you going to make new threads for this project?

I don't want to answer for Dave about new threads since this is his show :clap: :coverlaugh:

but I will contact Marty about setting up a new Project Gallery for this project. We have individual galleries set up for each of the previous projects. It's a great way to post pictures upon arrival and then throughout the plant's growth for comparisons.

I felt very bad having to stop running the projects and it was such a relief to see one of our other members grab the reins :nod:

Once the final poll is complete, a new thread should be made for each group in the project to use as a way to keep track of our progress along the way while growing them. At that point, you should make those new threads "stickies" and "unstick" the existing threads.

I'll take care of asking Marty to set up the new gallery :Tup:

I might have hit a snag already on this :(

I tried to buy from Großräschener Orchids in Europe last night and when it gets to PayPal it gives an error that the address the merchant supplied is invalid and it won't let me continue. :evil:

I was really glad a plant from Großräschener Orchids won, because other European sites would have caused me a problem because none of my bank accounts or credit cards are in Euros (all in GBP) and many of them have extra charges for that. I thought that the fact that Großräschener Orchids accepts PayPal would solve the problem.

I have checked and my address, as it is displayed on the Großräschener Orchids checkout page is EXACTLY what PayPal show on their website :hmm

All I can assume is that due to different address formats in Europe it is being submitted to PayPal incorrectly. :(

I'm going to email Großräschener Orchids and see if there is anyway arround this, because I really want to take part.:_(

Rosie I had this trouble in the last project my bank wanted to charge me £25 to process the payment in the end I called the vendor with my card details and they did the payment that way, I didnt seem to get any excessive charges doing that. They were in Germany I just cant recall which site it was. If I cant get around the payment and mailing issues I have to drop out as the mailing is really expensive as well about £20. I am bit broke right now as I just made an order from Easy Orchids as my hubby wanted a vanilla plantifolia and they got some in and of course it had to have TCs LOL I hope that by the time we order ill have some more cash and we can work out this issue with paying for orchids in europe.
