Also good candidate plants would be Promenea, any one that is available. I'll try to look some up later, if I have time!

Dear Camille & Summer 2009 project Members,
Amesiella monticola should be available in Europe at Schwerter Orchideenzucht - Orchideen und Orchideenzubehör - Online-Shop It is however not listed in their website. Camille, or someone else (as I know Camille would be on holidays) should contact them and as whether they still have plants available. As per April 2009 they still had 65 plants available (for 12.95@) and also 15 Amesiella philipinensis IOSPE PHOTOS for 19.95€ (this one requires higher temps!)
If you are interested, please send me a PM with your e-mail address and I can provide you the list of plants at Schwerter (what they call "list for private clients" - a long Excel file )

Just a reminder to all. We still need some cool growers. So if your getting a cool growing plant now is the time to suggest your favorites

if you still need some cool growers, in this link you can find a very nice collection of minis Miniaturorchideen - Miniaturorchideen
Most of the plants in Regine's collection are COOL to intermediate growers (her green house is actually quite cool, and e.g. Masdevallias love it!). Of course, there are also some warm growers there, but Regine has a special setup for them in th egreen house. I hope this helps you to select some nice plants

Can anyone suggest a nice bright coloured, open faced Masdivallia species we could add to one of the lists.
I would love to try to grow one, preferably one of the intemediate ones, but I would give cool a go if it was a nice Masdi.
I've searched and searched and can't find a species which is available in all three locations.
Does anyone have one they can suggest on my behalf?

I've added some to the list that are availiable to both Europe and the US. We still don't have any participants from Canada If someone from Canada joins we will have to chuck them.
