Dave, what does OH-PO-EV (and others) in the plant list in your first post mean? :scratchhead: If they are vendor abbreviations, what's the EV?

I have a few suggestions (I'm suggesting these for the warm category, but some fall under C and I as well...). They are available at least in the U.S., not sure if any Canadians are doing the warm group? Also, some info conflicts between growers websites classifications for temps. and IOSPE, I'm using the IOSPE info here.
Den. loddigessi- Cold to Warm, IOSPE PHOTOS Aeranthes grandiflora-warm/hot, the spike might be too long...not sure, but I saw these growing when I went to Madagascar and they were awesome, and they bloom in very low light, also available in Canada! IOSPE PHOTOS Amsiella monticola-cool to warm growing, I've been seeing these guys at every show, really cute with big flowers Ascocentrum auranticum-warm to hot, not entirely sure about size? IOSPE PHOTOS Ascocentrum pumilum-these guys are little! warm growing IOSPE PHOTOS Sarchochilus hartmanni, cool to hot growing IOSPE PHOTOS, and it's available in Canada! |
