I tried searching again for Masdevallia rolfeana in Canada but no luck. I tried using "http://www.google.ca" and choosing 'Pages from Canada' and it came up with J&L, Clouds & Paramount, but Clouds & Paramount were not actually selling it.

If anyone in Canada can find it I think it would be a good one for the list.

Shame it's intemediate not cool I guess.

Masdevallia triangularis is a suggestion for cool growing.

It's available at Andy's in the USA and at Großräschener Orchids in Europe. Like others I can't find it in Canada but that may be OK.

hehe, actually "Aufgebunden" means "Bound on something". It means the plants are mounted (by Kopf, normally on Cork)... and the website is also available in english: just click on the british flag :)

Note: once you have seen Kopf's mounted plants, you will recognize them everywhere ;) a quite special mount! (and always great plants!)

I can't find Cirrhopetalum lasiochilum which is No4 on the intermediate list in either Europe or USA.

Am I missing something? It says on the first page that it's available from J&L in the USA but I can't find it there. There are also no result in Camille's search for European vendors. So far I can only find it at Paramount Orchids.

If I'm missing something can someone tell me where it is available from, or if it's not available we may have to remove it.

Is it the same thing as bulbophyllum lasiochilum then? I had found that but not the Cirrhopetalum version. Didn't realise they are the same thing :blushing:

There is a lot of confusion with these two names... it is always better to check under both names, as depending on the author many species are place on one or the other...
