Thanks very much

Has Phal. bellina (Phal. violacea 'Borneo') been done before? I found it in the EV, Paramount, and Oak Hill. It is a hot grower according to IOSPE and fits the criteria. I just have a feeling maybe it's been done before?

Whats left is what goes to poll (whether it be 2 or 10). I'm not sure what else to do.

Hi Dave, I'll see if I can try and help out a bit. I think the reason why not many people made it for the chat is that the weather is nice and we are all outside doing stuff I'll try and look into some choices this evening, hopefully I won't duplicate anything that has already been researched and ruled out, is there a complete list available on what has been ruled out, or is that in the first post of this thread?

Thanks Becca. As long as the plants fit the criteria they will go on the list. The only thing is we don't want to delicate previous project plants Or get plants to big. The hardest part is finding them everywhere. We have 30 some people participating but only four or five people are suggesting plants. If everyone could find 2 plants to suggest. We would have more then needed.
I think that if I try another project, one of the rules will be that you will need to find 1 plant for each group they plan on joining, after all it is a project for learning, what better way to gain some knowledge.
Thanks again any help will be truly welcome.

This is what I've got so far...This is far more difficult then I imagined. Dave, thanks for all your hard work. This is not an easy job!
Leptotes bicolor - (Toddybear, gracie, RPfeiffer, Lagoon, shakkai, khill, Bird Song Farm, Frdemeter, MariaOB )
IOSPE PHOTOS
Available in Canada (Paramount)
Available in USA (Oak Hill)
Available in Europe ??
Leptotes bicolor :: Schwerter Orchideenzucht - Das Orchideen Zentrum Westfalens
I was hoping if someone from the EU could tell me if that's an okay buyer? Or maybe find another one?

Okay, so Phal. bellina was on the list but wasn't found in all three places. I found it in all three areas as noted above for less than $25. Also, Phal. Hieroglyphica is on the list, but not found in the US. I took a look and found it at OHB. Both of those can be added to the warm list as options.
As for intermediate, Masdevallia rolfeana is available at AO and EV (Großräschener Orchids), but I could not find it at any of the recommended Canadian vendors. Maybe someone with more knowledge about Canadian vendors could look in some other places?

I really hate to be a kill joy, but are these plants species, blooming size, and the vendor has them this year?

Not sure yet! Once we get enough plants for the poll. I will make a list and ask the vendors if they have enough, and if they are blooming size. What they can supply will make it to the final poll for vote. Thats why I need as many plant suggestion as possible.
