Default This is why...

I asked that only those on our list of members participating throughout the project, place a vote:

The number of votes for Phal lindenii is actually 5, not 6 as some of you may have seen when you checked earlier.

We had a vote placed for Phal lindenii by somebody not on our list, which can throw off the true winner of the project. I've removed the vote.

I know it's tempting, folks but please don't vote if your name is not on the list. We'll have another project soon enough... you can join that one and your vote will count

I thought those numbers were different

After the poll is completed, would you consider opening it up to latecomers?

I've been seduced by the colors of the Laelia perinnii. Thats my vote, I'm glad I joined in on the fun, otherwise I would never even know that L. perinnii existed.

I'd love to be accomodating to everybody BUT...

to me, the project is more than just a way to get a new plant. It's a way for our members to interact and it gives us the chance to expand our horizons. In each of our chats, somebody somewhere learned about a new plant...or somebody else learned how to care for a plant they like because we discussed it's culture.

I feel like the plant itself is just the reward we've given ourselves for taking the time to learn something new

This has been the 3rd project in under two years so rest assured...there will be another one brewing before you know it

Anybody that enjoyed seeing the progression of Project 3, whether participating or not, is more than welcome to join us in Project 4...whenever that may be
