Congrats on your blooms everyone!

My guy is still doing well, no spikes yet though. He is way behind in the class. Hopefully, he'll have a growth spurt over the summer and put out some spikes.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Mine is another baby that 'way behind although the vendor told me that it wouldn't bloom this year. It looks healthy and is growing new leaves so I'll just try to be patient and give it lots of TLC.

I wasn't all that excited about this little plant in the beginning. It arrived with a spike and soon bloomed so I got a little more into it. Then, soon afterwards, it began growing another spike. That bloomed and lasted a couple of weeks. I thought that was it for the the season, BUT..........it's now putting out 2 more spikes.

So, I've changed my mind and am really glad this plant was chosen. It's been fun!

Sandy, the best is they keep on... I have 2; one originally arrived with 2 spikes (now has 4) the other had one spike now has 3! the plant with 4 spikes is slightly larger than the other and so are the flowers.
I'm beggining to think they just don't stop once they have got into 'flowering mode' !!!!!!

I am one very happy chappy today! the long 'root' that I thought was growing well is now a flower spike! it has the mitten like end, I hadnt noticed it until just now. There are two other 'roots' growing that I cant tell if they are roots or flower spikes, thanks everyone for your support on this little guy, I am one very happy lady this morning! lets just hope it develops ok and doesnt blast, but at least I know I can get it this far.

Congrats to all the up and coming bloomers. This is such a neat little plant.

I'm happy to report that Smelly Ellie is indeed smelly. She smells just like a citronella candle first thing in the morning. Her first bloom is still going strong which kind of surprises me. For some reason I didn't think they lasted very long. She's been in bloom for a week now. The other spike is starting to show some color in the bud so it shouldn't be long for it to open now.

On mine, the original spike is now about 1/8" longer, while a new spike is about a half an inch and growing very slowly. Maybe sometime this summer...
