Hey I hate to be a party pooper but I was under the impression that as long as the plant did not have spikes originally (in the posted picture at arrival) then we were in the running. I even specifically asked about it in this thread.

I have been encouraging mine along and got the 2 spikes which I have been discussing here thinking that I was in the running for the "first" bloomer.

Now that she is ready to bloom (probably next week) y'all are changing the rules.

Can we just stick to what was offered originally?
