I heaven't heard of other death cases, but I overwatered the little plant. Remember the post about the plant with 9 spikes? I noticed it in time and the plant is recovering fast. By the time I detected the problem is still had 9 spikes and it was putting out some new roots.
It came in moss and I replanted it in fine grade bark with perlite. Went well for a few weeks until 2 weeks ago.
It's now back in very fluffly moss and I checked the roots several times and the roots that are growing look beter than the ones it lost. I removed the spikes except for one but this little wonder putted out a new spike. I guess when they want to bloom, they bloom!
The first 3 leafs (from 7) look a bit dehydrated.
If I use bark again for this plant I certainly won't use the fine grade bark. I think too much water got trapped between the small pieces of bark.
