Just to keep things going; Chuckles' first spike is growing nicely with all the water that has been downpouring on it lately and I just found a second spike today.Hopefully there will be blooms soon.

You know, getting a few more might help increase relative humidity and make your current residents a little happier.

Are you growing it outside Rolando? Mounted or potted? So curious!

Evil, truly evil . . . wish I could use that argument, but they're in a "greenhouse" garden window on about 5 sq ft of gravel trays full of water and with two ferns, a Clerodendrum thomsoniae, and a Passiflora coriacea. After spending the morning reading info here, I'm going to inspect roots today and make dangerous decisions! Wish me luck!

No screw up Dave, we just have to remember that we have a lot of new members on this one that don't really know what the past standard was....nobodies fault. As for the prize plants, I'll send them to whomever the majority rules as the winner....and runner-up. I have no objection either way, I haven't even bought my plant yet!

It's not supposed to be about getting a prize, it's about learning how to get the plant to bloom
Let's not push them into regretting doing such a nice thing for us

After weeks of waiting, I finally got my Haraella and TCs! The waiting was starting to kill me, and I ran into problems with my bank for the payment. Haraella has 2 spikes, but you can only see one in the picture. I will repot, since it's in charcoal and I prefer bark. I'll keep her potted since my other one is mounted and i would like to compare them. She traveled with Sophronitis cernua and Phalaenopsis pulchra, which are both very nice, very healthy plants. And since a box can't arrive alone, today I also recieved some 3 divisions/keikis from a fellow OB member.(Thanks Nicole! ) Opening the boxes was better than Christmas!
