What an awesome story Carrie! It's nice to hear that there are people out there who still willing trust that others will do the right thing instead of always assuming things will go bad.
Jonny... you crack me up with the Andy's stories. Direct debit perhaps? I could get into a lot of trouble with Andy's too. They have great stuff.

I like Andys too - but truthfully, I really can't grow their stuff because the plants just require too high humidity and conditions that I can't give them. I've already lost a C. aclandie, a kingianum and a sederia japonica that i purchased from them, its so sad. I don't know what it is, but they all get to me and just die, I don't think they like windowsills

Hey Everyone,
My plant arrived today!
It looks great, has 3 or so new roots starting and a new leaf.
It also has a weird crinkled leaf that looks like the start of another plant that got stuck in the potting media (it's very soft and wrinkled and hidden in the roots. I mounted my plant on some tree fern with some moss. It seems happy. Now it just need to star a spike for me! I'll post pics when I get a chance.

my new additions arrived this morning she came in a little pot so I have mounted her she looks happy and healthy though she doesnt have an awful lots of roots from the base of the plant I will keep aneye on her and see how I go, I am worried about humidity with her, my room is only about 50% The piece of bark I mounted her on is a bit large but its all I had left so she has a nice big home now. I also got my Masdevallia barleana I hope not to kill L

It looks great Karrie! Don't worry too much about having 50% humidity, I have about the same. The Haraella I already have is mounted, and as long as it stays a bit damp all the time, it should be fine. I mist it heavily before class, again in the evening, and sometimes at lunch if I happen to go home. But mine also has much less moss than yours, so drys quicker probably. I noticed that it doesn't like being dry for extended periods of time (leaves were wrinkling and falling off)
