Okay, I have to say I'm kinda glad we didn't go with the Dendrobium tetragonum, despite the fact that it won in the voting. I saw one on eBay this morning, and it's pretty darn big: Orchid species Dendrobium tetragonum - eBay (item 260393121644 end time Apr-20-09 11:18:48 PDT)
Those of us growing on shelves under lights would have had a bit of trouble as the plant started to mature.

Shannan, did you get confirmation they have these two plant? last time I spoke to Andreas Kopf (End of Feb) he did not have Masd. Confetti anymore. Same with Paph. coccineum from home
If you get it confirmed, I know who is accompanying the next order :-)))

My shipment from O&M was sent out last Saturday. Herr Schraut did email me to confirm shipment (and get the CCV number for my card). As he didn't mention not having the plant I ordered in stock, I have to assume that it is on its way... I will know in just a couple of days when it arrives. I haven't had confirmation from Andreas yet. Confetti isn't that big a deal, in any case, I am more in love with the species!

I have been slacking on placing my order. I have come to terms that I will be lucky if I can afford just one TC to keep my project plant happy on it's journey. I just thought I would ask if there is some sort of discount set up for us project members? I know there usually is, but I just wasn't sure what the discount is this time?

Becca... There is a discount at Oak Hill for project members on the Haraella. I believe they are taking 15% off. So remember to include your OB user name!

Well I have finally ordered my project plant!
The seller I bought it from had the Dendrobium
tetragonum listed as "Denbrobium tetragonum?(gigante)" & its apparently 20cms tall. ..as I am starting to have alot less space I decided to go for smaller 'chids!
I picked
Aerangis puntata & Ascofinetia
(neofinetia x asco.miniatum)
as TC's.

It's actually 25%...the price after the discount is $11.25 for the project plant.
I went a little over that
