If I remember correctly with Oak Hill, you'll pay for the order and then they will refund you back the difference from the discount (on the same bill)

Everybody remember...make sure you give them your OB user name

I heard from Liese at Oak Hill today...she's very excited to be working with us again and promises to pick the best plants for us

I'm happy to go along with the Haraella, Sue, so will check out where to order now. This is supposed to be a near blooming size, right?

Thanks so much for all your efforts on our behalf.

Have learned that Paramount only carry Haraella odorata, they don't have retrocalla. Now I'm going to try J & L because they're coming to Vancouver in May.

Shirley, odorata and retrocalla are the same thing. The plant was renamed. Your safe to order from Paramount if you want to.

Thank you, Terri and Niki. Please pardon my ignorance! I've had a follow-up message from Paramount telling me that they are the same. I couldn't get a pot size because their's are all mounted but more than a year away from bloom. Price is $25.

Wow, it took me forever to get up to date on this thread! I just got back online after a week away at my country house. I didn't even miss OB, I was too busy planting the veggie garden and tending to the zillion plants everywhere. I did bring 10 orchids on vacation with me from NL, to keep me company!
Anyways, I'm happy to get a Haraella, even though I already have one! Too bad it's at none of the vendors I had already prepared TC lists for... I love all the TCs everyone is getting!

Oh good! That means that they are the right size AND I can fit it in without too much problem (cuz I can hang it)

I believe the H. Odorata IS retrocalla, given that Paramount has retrocalla in brackets right under odorata....

either way, they won't ship until at least May because Calgary got a snow dump last week.
