I think J&L has the Phal parishii.

Also, both of those Masdies are nice! I don't know why the tovarensis wasn't received well...that is a gorgeous plant!

Arrow Had a great chat

Tonight's chat went very well

Thanks to all who participated...and thanks to Nichole for helping me with the note-taking

The tentative list is now complete!
These are the plants we will be choosing from...eventually.

I am going to be sending a PM to all participants tomorrow asking for confirmation that they are still interested in continuing along....and I will be attaching the link to the tentative list.

When you reply to the PM, please say yes or no for going further...and if you are sticking with us, please tell me which plants you would like to see make it to the final poll. I will add your name to those plants.

The confirmations are of extreme importance...I need to contact vendors and confirm how many plants we will be needing. Any plant on the following list that is not written in Bold Green has only been found in an internet search, we still need to confirm those vendors have enough for our members.
Once I know for sure how many are going forward and which plants they like, we'll be able to tally up the plants with the highest number of votes.

The top TEN will go to the final poll...where your ONE vote really counts!

The winner of the poll is the plant we all grow together

I haven't been here before for a project, but for a confirmation, does that basically mean you're in no matter what plant is chosen, or if a plant is picked that you cannot do, can you still bow out of the project?

In today's economic times, I would never presume to tell anybody that they MUST buy a plant but...

I need to have a pretty good idea of how many plants a vendor will need to supply.

Dropping out of the project because a plant wins that you don't necessarily love is a poor choice...part of the reason we do these projects is to maybe try something we normally wouldn't on our own. It's happened in past projects...some folks were not thrilled to buy the winning plant but they did...and it became a favorite very quickly.
