That's really good to know...too bad i didn't ask before I killed my Aerangis luteo-alba
Okay...so we may want to further discuss the Aerangis citrata...I remember somebody telling us in chat last night that it can be hard to grow. Maybe now that we know about the necessary high humidity levels, it will come off the list...but somebody with a tank might make it a TC

I don't know if I can suggest a new orchid here or not, or if I have to wait for the next chat. Anyways, here it is
Gastrochilus japonicus IOSPE PHOTOS
Size: 3 inches (8cm)
Available Canada (Clouds) EU, and didn't check USA since I'm not familiar with vendors there.
IOSPE says warm to cold, then cold-cool. But according to OrchidWiz, it's more like an intermediate. Max 77-79°F in summer days, down to 66-68°F winter days.
But this might not be a good candidate, it need quite high humidity. But I thought I would suggest it anyways.

I might have to miss that chat. I have fencing class + after fencing drinking until 12:30- 1am, and then class at 8:30am Friday morning. I'll see, it'll depend on how tired I am! No biggy, there will be other chats!

Camille,
You go girl! I think fencing is cool. I should learn how to. We (my husband) have enough swords.

I would have gladly given you the youtube link of our re-enactment of part of the fencing scene in the movie Princess Bride, but it's kinda really off topic! Unless Sue tolerates a bit more off topic-ness...
