I got a phone call from Andy this afternoon regarding the upcoming project (I had sent him an email a few days ago).
I told him our first discussions are set for mid-March so he's going to take some time and go through his inventory to see what he has that fits our parameters and that he has enough stock to supply the U.S. members. He and I will be working together.
Anybody already doing research should take a look at the Andy's site
Andy's Orchids - Orchid Species - Orchids - Species Specialist - Orchids on a stick and make a list of what you think you might want to suggest for the project. Maybe once a week, post your lists in our Social Group thread and I will compare it to the list Andy will be sending me.
To keep things organized, I would suggest that anybody who has a question for Andy about a particular plant should contact
me rather than Andy's. I will be in constant contact with them and will pass along any questions and then post answers/solutions/suggestions in the group thread.
By going through Andy's, we will have access to a great number of plants that will fit our needs. I asked him to keep the size under 12 inches total and the price under $25.00. Make sure you check the Canadian and European search engines for availability before suggesting anything.
This does not mean you can't order your plant from a different vendor...but I will only be working on a discount from Andy's
