Yes, they do sparkle with the light on them. Thanks for saying that, as I'm not good with description. What truly blows me away is that your husband noticed it!!!!! He's a definite keeper, cause I can't get mine to notice anything unless it has a very strong wonderful fragrance....then he pays attention. Wish mine was as attentive to my chids as your DH. Lucky you!

Many of my orchids used to be DH's. He was the original orchid lover here. When he got really busy at work for awhile, I took over their care. First thing you know, I had to repot and learn what to do for them. I laugh now at how afraid of them I was. I thought they were delicate and finicky. Little did I know just how resilient they really are. Maybe he appreciates their beauty because he is still interested in photography. This little guy is so pretty too. So tiny and so lovely! I wonder what pollinates such a tiny blossom in nature? Carol

I had to laugh at your post Carol. My DH goes and looks at this plant as soon as the light comes on first thing in the morning! Too funny. He thinks it's the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Mine has 5 almost 6 flowers open right now. It's looking really terrific. I better take a picture before they all fall off! I still have one spike that hasn't bloomed yet, so I'll be enjoying this one for a while. Great choice Sue and group! I love this plant!

Here is mine as of today. It's really done a good job of holding all of it's flowers. I think one is starting to fade though. Of the 3 spikes 2 are about half bloomed out and the 3rd hasn't started yet. It's hard to get a decent pic of this one, it's so tiny.

Awesome, Terri!! Your pics look great! Tons of blooms on your little guy! I really love this Intermediate plant. My two spikes are still just inching along...

Wonderful job, Terri!

I lost both spikes on mine but I know that it was due to confusing this poor little guy. Inside, outside, in the tank, in the room...poor little guy just stopped trying to keep up with the insanity

Yours looks great...congrats to you!

Beautiful blooms Terri! I decided that I might as well have a look at the spoiler thread, since my intermediate is not the same one as yours. I have my own personal mystery plant!

Default picture of intermediate

This one is almost done blooming now and I finally post the pic dh took when it started. It had two spikes and both of them did bloom. Sure is a pretty little thing.

Another update from me...Here she is with her first bloom open! The color is a bit washed out in the photo. Sad because the real color is AMAZING! Can't wait for the rest of the buds to open.
