Very cool! Looking forward to the pictures

I had mine in the big tank but the lighting fixture was having some problems and I'm in the process of getting a replacement. In the meantime, I had to put all those chids back out in the room and I don't think the intermediate project chid liked being moved around so much.

It had two nice spikes on it but one of them have blasted...the other is doing extremely well and I'm hoping to see blooms soon

Wow, I thought I posted a picture of mine, but I can't find it anywhere on this thread. Mine has been in bloom since two weeks before Christmas. The first two blooms are somewhat gone by now, but other buds have opened and in good form. They are tiny blooms, but very showy and seem to last a fairly long time considering how small and delicate they are. I don't keep mine in much sun, just bright light. I really like this one!

I hope you have more patience than I do Susanne! This puppy is a slow bloomer. My cool plant just had a bloom that didn't open. I think I let her dry out too much. She likes to be drowned.

DH thought it so pretty that he went to get it to take pictures. Then he really fell in love with it. The pictures of course, are larger and show the true beatuy of the blossoms. They even sparkle with light on them. This is the intermediate BTW. Ross is going to get after us.

Yes, they do sparkle with the light on them. Thanks for saying that, as I'm not good with description. What truly blows me away is that your husband noticed it!!!!! He's a definite keeper, cause I can't get mine to notice anything unless it has a very strong wonderful fragrance....then he pays attention. Wish mine was as attentive to my chids as your DH. Lucky you!

This has been blooming since two weeks before Christmas. The first two buds have gone by but the rest is still going strong. It's a very cute showy bloom that seems to last quite a while. I'm very impressed with this one. I accidentally posted this in the "warm" mystery thread, so correcting myself with this.
