You are very welcome my friend.
The roots look good! Give it another year or two and the flowers will just blow you away!

That's great your intermediate plant is pushing roots! My intermediate has been growing a new leaf, pretty much since I received it. There are also two odd nubbins coming from inside the bracts of each of the two bottommost leaves. They look spike or bud-like, but, am really not sure what they are. They don't seem to be doing much, and are way too small to photo or get a good look at. My warm plant is taking a bit of a rest since blooming, but is pushing some new roots from the youngest bulb.

My intermediate has a nubbin too. It isn't doing much. Don't know what it is.

My intermediate has 2 spikes and it is taking forever for them to develop. I was gone for a week and now I can actually see some buds finally. It's also growing a new leaf, and pushing out some new roots.
The warm grower is pushing lots of new roots out but no sign of a spike or a new growth.
They both seem happy, and I'm happy I haven't killed them yet.

My intermediate has a spike that is taking forever to develope.
It seems to grow, rest, grow, rest, but is finally showing some very small buds.

Does anyone have a picture of a (non blooming)spike on the intermediate plant? I don't know where I should be expecting a spike to grow from, when it finally does. And what's the normal bloom season for this guy? I'm getting impatient with it!

Hi Camille
The spikes on this one will come from the leaf axils. I have one coming up from the very bottom of the plant because the two lower leaves were kind of weak and I removed them.
Orchidwiz shows the highest number for bloomings in November and December...

I just noticed mine has two spikes. One is much more noticeable than the second one I just just noticed today. I will post it in the mystery project pic area, but it's hard to see.
